The Aerial Silks add an exhilarating dimension to this powerful, trauma-informed, yoga and embodiment training, as participants learn to intertwine traditional yoga asana and practice with the dynamic possibilities and sensory input of the hammocks. This fusion opens new feedback patterns and deepens awareness. It also invites practitioners to explore trust, balance, flexibility, and more in a unique setting, all while maintaining a trauma-sensitive approach.

Finding Balance and Harmony Through Every Layer of Being

Series Dates: Sundays 3/3, 4/7, 5/5 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm in Kent

Learn to balance and harmonize through a transformative journey of self-exploration with the Layers of Being Koshas Workshop Series. This immersive series combines breathwork, mindful movement, meditation, stillness, and study to delve deep into the layers of the human experience from the perspective of classic yogic philosophy. Each session invites participants to explore the five koshas, or layers of being, through embodied practices, introspective study, group processing, and personal development.

April Focus: Pranamaya Kosha and Manomaya Kosha Exploration 

Sunday April 7, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm in Kent 

Gain an overall understanding of the Koshas in yogic philosophy and begin a deep dive into accessing Pranamaya Kosha (the prana/breath/energy layer) and Manomaya Kosha (the “mind” layer). Embark on a dynamic exploration of the human body’s intricate dance between form and function. In this engaging session, we will go beyond the conventional and dive into the essence of movement and spatial awareness, using a blend of traditional asana, embodiment, and intuitive flow. Through playful exploration, we’ll feel into the planes and axes of human motion, helping us orient to Self and Center. This Comprehensive Course Includes These Seven Magickal Workshops!

Workshop 1: Your Grounding

Come learn to build an altar and open a circle! Working with correspondences like crystals, essential oils, and plants, that we call mat support, you will learn various techniques to ground when you can’t make your way outdoors. In this course you will work through six lessons that include self-massage and grounding movement. Then, after working through five versions of savasana you will experience a magickal forest meditation. Last, you will journal before learning to close a circle.

Workshop 2: Your Chakra Clearing

The spinning vortexes of our bodies’ natural energy system are known as ‘chakras’ – a word from Sanskrit literally meaning wheel. As you work through this workshops eight lessons you will learn to layer energy (using crystals, oils, colors, and frequency) for chakra clearing using ritual, movement (this time restorative yoga poses), mantra, and meditation.

Workshop 3: Your Inner Child Honoring

In this workshop, you will build an altar to your inner child. Through five lessons you will play in movement, with each pose grounding and journaling to connect with the child within you. In a restorative child’s pose you will work through an Orb of Light meditation, finishing with an inner child honoring ritual to honor and nurture her. Your inner child is ready to be seen, heard, and loved – mothered as only you can!

Workshop 4: Your Self-Love

So, let’s be rebels! In this workshop of six lessons, beyond the movement and mirror work meditation, you will be adorning yourself and using essential oils for emotional support. In ritual, you will learn about and create a self-love spell jar that will continue to support you in this work.

Workshop 5: Your Transformation

In this five-lesson workshop, you will be burning the stories you are sick of in your life. These are the old stories that are not only personal to you as an individual, but also those shared by humanity along with those you inherit through genetic legacy. You will seek to release any unhealthy attachments you hold. Once those are gone, you will then learn to fill the space with new stories of personal courage and healing for yourself and others. Beyond this powerful ritual you will learn the Dance of the Warrior and participate in a Blanketing Ceremony along with more adornment (this time involving runes) and journaling.

Workshop 6: Your Oath

This seven-lesson workshop will begin with an art therapy exercise, an inspiration candle spell, and a meditation to get your creativity flowing. Then, through three different sessions of brainstorming and mantra-led movement you will prepare for the important task of clarifying your life vision and writing your Oath of Sovereignty.

Workshop 7: Your Goddess Crowning

In this final workshop, you will create your crown before creating your own Goddess Ceremony. Everything you have worked for will come together in this powerful ritual where you claim your throne as Warrior Goddess, as the Queen of your own life!

In this powerful workshop, we will be combining ritual, magickal movement, and meditation to cultivate the soil of our own hearts, tenderly transforming our inner critic and self-judgment into gentle, inner confidants, supports, and guides. We will learn to befriend all aspects of ourselves, to honor, love, nurture, and embrace our being, fully, as we are, in this moment. This is the seat of personal power and the cauldron from which magick springs.

Included in this powerful practice will be the creation of a self-love spell jar that will continue to support you in this work long after the circle has closed.
