What Is Health and Wellness Coaching?
Who is Coaching For?

Health and wellness coaching is the transformative process of clarifying key health and well-being goals, and then implementing powerful strategies to make those goals a reality. Your health and wellness coach works together with you to call forth the highest and best vision for your life into being.

I work with folks who are ready to shift their lives through a holistic approach that addresses their health and well-being on every level; through their Mind, Body, and Spirit, to how they show up, make choices, and take action in the world. I am here to support and guide you, every step of the way, through that transformation.

Common Wellness Coaching Questions

What does health coaching look like?

Meeting together either in person, via video call or audio-only call, we will work together to design a vision for your life that is compelling, magnetic, and joy filled. In subsequent sessions, we will begin to “move the dial” of your behaviors and beliefs through skill and knowledge acquisition, mindfulness-based practices, embodiment work, and experimentation in utilizing new approaches in your life. We will meet weekly, bi-weekly over the course of your package for regular mindfulness coaching. You will receive email support and lifetime access to the tools needed for your success.

What makes health and wellness coaching different?

Unlike the diets, exercise routines, and lifestyle programs you may have tried in the past, wellness coaching is based on the best practices of positive psychology, behavioral change psychology, health and well-being education, and motivational research. Coaching is not a commercialized, canned, and ready-to-sell product. The “coach approach” seeks to put YOU in the driver’s seat, heading toward the life YOU DESIGN FOR YOURSELF. We start from the premise that you absolutely have the ability to achieve your goals…we just need to forge the right path to get you there. This authentic path takes into account your strengths, your challenges, and your life. As your health and wellness coach, I am here for you every step of the way, providing accountability, support, a framework for the process, and expertise when needed.

Is coaching only done one-on-one?

One-on-one health and wellness coaching is a fantastic way to cultivate the changes you are looking for in your life, but group coaching can also have amazing benefits! Working toward your goals in tandem with other folks can provide tremendous support and accountability. Through your new friendships with other wellbeing-focused folks, you will also create incredible positive reinforcement for the healthy changes you are making.

Do you combine Coaching with Personal Training?

Yes! I offer multiple packages, some of which draw upon my abilities and expertise as a Certified Personal Trainer as well as a master Yoga, Meditation, and Embodied Movement Teacher. Please schedule a call with me so we can learn how best to meet your needs.
